apartment: after charlie got pregnant with jeremy, she moved in with easton. their building is a block and a half away from the beach, and they have balcony access from their room window that faces the beach. the breeze at night is fantastic, and the building is sturdy, even though it looks run down. charlie calls it rustic — vintage, almost.
bedroom: the walls are stark white and covered in pictures and other things. their mattress is on the floor and it’s bordered off by two nightstands. the sheets are almost never made and jeremy cosleeps with them almost every night, so little toys are usually stuck between the sheets.
mix tapes: a staple item in charlie and eastons relationships. they communicate really well through music and are constantly giving each other cds to listen to. therefore, the apartment has tons of them scattered about.
fat cat (and other pets): charlie and easton have three dogs, a rat, and a cat. bandit is a miniature huskey, sweetie is an old golden retriever that charlie has had since she was sixteen, and scamp is a tiny mutt that wednesday lover found on tour. fat cat is the cat that easton found on the beach as a kitten and has raised as basically, his child. the rat is named lady and they both found her a tiny baby and raised her full grown.
food/kitchen: easton loves to cook. the kitchen is always stocked to the brim with food and he’s always whipping up some new meal for charlie to try.
jeremy: the tiny toddler is 8 months old now and the light of the apartment. always with a tiny toothed smile, the little boy can now crawl to and ‘fro and gets his little hands into anything he can reach.
the nursery: plain and simple, for two reasons. they can’t really afford anything all too fancy, and they like the simplicity. plus, it’s not like jeremy spends a lot of time sleeping in his crib anyway. unless charlie and easton want alone time, that is…
the beach: a short walk away from their building and a place that holds tons of meaning to both, charlie and easton.
